StecaGrid 1900
Description
The DualString product range consists of masters and slaves. Like the slaves, the master contains an inverter, but it also offers additional functions: a four-line display, a data logger for storing the yield values, country-specific grid monitoring on the AC output side and the possibility of using an optional interface card.
Flexible system planning
The StecaGrid 1900 operates according to the DualString concept. This means that each inverter (master or slave) has two inputs, each with its own MPP tracker. One module string can be connected to each input. Depending on the requirements, the inputs can also be connected in parallel.
The advantage of this kind of system is its lower susceptibility to adverse influences such as partial shading, malfunctions or the failure of a string. By using several decentralised master/slave combinations, the costs of DC cabling can be reduced and electrical losses can be minimised.
Galvanic isolation
DualString inverters from Steca are equipped with a high-frequency transformer and are therefore galvanically isolated. This enables the unrestricted use of thin-film modules. Yet efficiency levels of up to 95% are still achieved.
The most diverse operating conditions
StecaGrid inverters offer constant performance over a wide ambient temperature range. This is supported by maintenance-free and natural convection via the generously dimensioned cooling fins. Since there is no fan, the inverter operation is virtually silent. Thanks to their high protection class, the StecaGrid DualString inverters are also suitable for outdoor use.
The StecaGrid 1900 D master can be combined with StecaGrid 2000+ slave and StecaGrid 2010+ slave.
Guarantee
The StecaGrid 1900 has a 5-year guarantee. The guarantee period can optionally be extended to 10 years.
